Kumaon region is located in the state of Uttarakhand ("Dev Bhumi/Bhoomi"), India. Kumaon region comprises of Almora, Bageshwar, Champawat, Nainital, Pithoragarh, Udham Singh Nagar. Large part of the region is covered by Himalayas and and lush forests.
